INTRODUCTION
The last edition of the Global Tongston Entrepreneurial Education Summit (TEES) redefined what it meant to be entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial. TEES convened 1000+ delegates from 54 countries globally with 100+ speakers from global brands including UNICEF, World Bank, KPMG, USAID, International Monetary Fund, University of Brunei, National Board of Technical Education, Microsoft, PepsiCo, and the Nigerian Government. The 3-day event drew new commitments on key issues in education and mapped out new learning experiences for the 50+ international leaders in various industries. It also witnessed 7 elevator pitches from startups with a chance to win thousands of dollars of prizes.

TEES 2022 REWIND
Tongston Entrepreneurial Education Summit (TEES) 2022 was held on September 1st – 3rd in Abuja, Nigeria (day 1) & on Hopin virtual platform (days 2 & 3).
TEES saw the gathering of 103 industry-renowned global speakers and stakeholders from 82 brands across public-private, and non-profit institutions in Education (basic, higher and professional Education), business (technology, accounting, treasury, legal, policy, regulation, administration, Human Resources, governance, data, research, economics, business development, and strategy), media (traditional & new – branding, PR, Corporate Communications, Multimedia Production, Events Management, Publications) & finance (advisory, funding and asset management) sectors.
Speakers work with global brands such as Microsoft, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, PepsiCo, United Nations, NHS England, KPMG, Stanbic IBTC, African Business Coalition for Health, Ernst & Young, London Stock Exchange, Standard Chartered Bank amongst others.

THE 2022 ENTREPRENEURIAL ELEVATOR PRIZE WINNER
Bio: Promise Okwuchukwu is an ex-COO at Phil at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) building Solar cells at the Nano Research Lab UNN and leading Business Engineering at Acecore. He is renowned for his passion in building companies from bottom-up, attracting intelligent, cohesive and high-performance professionals offering proven competences in product development, engineering wireframing, concept ideation, and hardware/digital prototyping, as well as experience at directing the activities of workgroups.
Mr. Promise was the winner of the prize worth $500 for his startup Mijolnia, aiming to power a Smart and clean energy future for Africa and the world through a proprietary battery technology. Promise Okwuchukwu is the TEES 2022 Entrepreneurial Pitches Award winner, which awarded him a $500 cash grant to expand his business, with a free business advisory and structuring session.
